On February 12, 2012 at approximately 12:30 AM,  KSP Sergeant Steve Walker conducted a traffic stop on the Hal Rogers Parkway in the city limits of London in Laurel County.  During the course of the investigation, the operator identified as Macauthur (John) Young age – 37 of Monticello, KY was arrested on the charges of Driving under the Influence and Failure to Wear Seat Belts.  Approximately 4.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine, Hydrocodone pills, marijuana, paraphernalia and $3,199.00 in cash were located and seized along with a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.  Young was charged with the additional charges of: Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1^st Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 2^nd Degree, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Two passengers, identified as Erica L. Lovett, age – 33 and Ashley Baker, age – 27, both of Monticello, KY were charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1^st Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 2^nd Degree.  Investigation continues by Sergeant Steve Walker.
